Men's Underwear

It is quite astounding how many men do not know the basics of underwear hygiene. Although it seems like a simple concept, even the simplest rules are often ignored. The first subject is easy underwear maintenance. After a man wears a pair of underwear, shorts need to be washed. Even if they smell okay, they still need to be washed. Once they start developing holes, they need to be thrown away. There is no acceptable reason to keep a pair of underwear simply because there is some attachment, sentimental or otherwise, to a certain pair. New underwear needs not be purchased every week. About once or twice a year, depending on the activities of a man, a trip will need to be taken to the local clothing store to stock up for the coming year.

At the store, it is important to remember that there are different types of underwear for different purposes and a variety should be purchased. A man should have at least enough pairs to last for two weeks and three weeks is closer to optimal. In this manner, a man can go for an extended period of time without having to do laundry too often. While a pair of jeans can go several days before needing to be washed, underwear should be washed after every use. This translates into a need for more pairs of underwear than pants or other pieces of clothing.

As previously mentioned, there are different types of underwear men can wear. There are cotton pairs that are good for work, boxers for sleeping, and nice boxer briefs for occasions when a romantic interlude may be possible. A man should keep in mind a lady’s response if she happens to see him in an old pair of underpants with holes and stains. With a large enough selection of different types, a man can choose his underwear based on the activities of the day.

The term underwear explains itself. A pair of undies needs to be worn inside the pants and away from public view. Wearing pants low to show off underwear may be trendy, but any woman will say that men look better with the undies out of sight. While there may be a certain temptation for a man to go commando, or wear no underwear, this desire should be quelled as the freedom of movement will come at a cost of decreased hygiene.

Wearing stained or torn underwear is never acceptable. A sure downer for women and a loss of Viagra online, failing to wear clean underwear is perhaps one of the top faults for men. Even at home, any self-respected man should sport well-fitting, comfortable and clean underwear. These rules are easy to follow: clean, flawless and fitting. Great underpants means better appearance and good genital hygiene.
